Thing 1 has been bugging me about going and seeing Santa. He is the only one that would want to see him in real life. Well any how we saw him. Thing 1 was second in line and was soooo happy to see him. He sat on his lap and Santa asked him if he as been good. Thing 1 didn't reply. Then Santa asked what he wanted for Christmas. Thing 1 asked for a Robot. He has wanted a Robot for like six months. Santa said he would see what he could do.
Of course my little scientist now needs to analyse everything Santa said to him.
"Mom, why did Santa ask if I was good this year? Wouldn't he already know that?"
I was laughing a little inside "Thing 1 he was just trying to see if you would lie or not." a moment of silence.
"Mom, how is Santa going to get all the toys done in time if he is seeing kids right now?"
"Well,,He has his elf's make them."
"Mom, Why did Santa ask what I wanted for Christmas? Doest he have a magic snow ball that tells him?"
(I have no idea where the magic snow ball came from) "Thing 1 I think he just wants to make sure he is getting you the right present."
"Mom, how does Santa get the reindeer to fly?"
My reply "Santa Magic"
"Oooohhh! That must be how it works. I get it mom."
So I am thinking well that was easy enough. (of course it wasn't)
So now I am just always saying it is because of "Santa Magic"
I don't know how long this will last. I wish he would just take my word for it.
Meanwhile my Thing 2 just wants to write Santa a letter and he doesn't even care where the toys come from. Or who makes them. He just wants them. He just wants to make sure Santa gets the right gifts for him he doesnt care about "Santa Magic" one bit.
It is so weird how I can have two boys at the same time and have them be so different. :-)

It is amazing how different each child can be, even when they are twins. I like watching the world through my childrens eyes and seeing how they both see things differently, and mine are not twins. Enjoy their differences, it makes them who they are.
So glad he got to see Santa. Ours gets to see him next week at his school program.
Jill, thanks it was alot of fun to go to the ice skating program and see Santa.
