Thing 2 has decided he doesn't want to go anywhere. He only likes to stay home. He is always trying to get out of Kindergarten (yes,he is only five) He claims he has hiccups,tummy ache, Head ache, and a bad case of ichies. He always says "Mom, I to sick! Personally, I think I need to stay home with you cause I am to sick." I always manage to get him on the bus.
But lately I am having a problem getting him to go to Grandma's house. Grandma does everything right. She makes him pancakes (his favorite) She has a car mat for him to play with. She has a fun back yard, where he can play all day if he wants. She has video games and he gets lots and lots of loves. But he will fight me to go over their and when we are coming home he always says "Mom, Personally I think this will be the last time I go to Grandma's house!" What to do? My little man is becoming a Home body!

Has he said why he does not want to go to Grandma's? I have similar issues with my son, he is 6. He'd rather stay home in his pajamas then go anywhere (then again, who wouldn't?). I had to go pick him up from Grandma's house once, at 11:30pm, he just could not sleep there (and he has slept there many times before this). Isn't it a wonder how one time something is good and then suddenly it's not?
I cant get him to tell me why he doesnt like Grandma's. I think he just has a hard time with a change in routine. But this just started a little while ago and well now he doesnt like to go anywhere.
