Thing 1 & Thing 2 with a Baby Sister

Back on Track...

My babies are back on track...They have been away from school for a couple of weeks. (year round school is strange)
I have a new focus on being a better mom...Help them more with reading and math. Help more with home work. Help them to be better at school and have a better understanding of what they are learning. I need to not lose my patients...Be strong and help them.
My boys will only be first graders for a few more months...I need to help them to be the best little first graders around!!

I put my baby girl into her bed and tucked her in...She was smiling and being oh, so cute!! I walk out of her room and as soon as I closed the door I hear some awful screaming coming from her room....I open the door ask her what is wrong and she says this

"Momma the alligator is biting my toes!!!! Hurry momma kiss them better!!!"

I had to kiss some of the cutest toes around :-) I have no idea where the alligator came from...But, it sure was cute!!

I really love little kids!!!!

OK...I did it...I sent my little Thing 1 off to school on a Sunday...Thinking it was Monday... Opps! He was such a good little boy went over to the neighbors house rang the bell...The neighbors dad came to the door and told my sweet little Thing 1 "Ummm...Its Sunday!"
My sweet little Thing 1 marches back home and demands to know "Whats wrong with you!!! Its Sunday!" (I dont ever let him talk to me like that...But, I was really wondering what was wrong with me too!!)
Ok....What makes this story even worse is...My sweet little Thing 2 was sick so I called the school and left a message saying he was staying home because he is sick (roll my eyes)

All I can say is "Senior Moment at 29!!!"

What am I going to do when I am older! LOL!!!

I am so excited my little Thing 2 got the Principal's Pride award!!!
His certificate said he does a great job with math...There is no problem he cant solve!!! Yay!! :-)
He is such a super kid!!!

My little Thing 2 played Jr. Basketball today without his brother...He was lost without him....It was super cute and super sad at the same time....He just stayed in the middle of the court watching the kids play (he still had a lot of fun!!!). I forget how much my boys need each other!! They came together (being twins) so they can be each others strength!!!!

My little Thing 2 has Asperger's Syndrome.
I have know he was right there with Autism since he was really little. But, now the psychologist at the school is testing My Thing 2 for Asperger's Syndrome...He matches the symptoms exactly!!
It is nice to finally know what makes my Sweet little Thing 2...Do the things he does :-)
I have pretty much assumed it was Asperger's Syndrome from all the things I have read....But, it sure is nice to have someone else tell you that is what they are thinking too!

Because of the huge lack of funds I have...I am going to try to collect coupons and use coupons for grocery shopping. I have tried this before and never really followed through. I would really like to save maybe 50 bucks a month doing this. I bet I can. If I really "use" them :-)
I might even venture into using online coupons...To do that though I need to buy printer ink...So that might have to wait. (why does printer ink have to cost 50 bucks??)
I hate spending money to save money!!

So my little Thing 1 came to me today to announce that he is ready for his own cell phone...OK, What?? He is only in first grade!!! He thinks he is so grown up! A cell phone would be handy..But, not yet! So the question is what age do you get a child a cell phone??

To help keep me motivated on the treadmill my DH bought me these really neat shoes called Nike+ (http://nikerunning.nike.com) So far they have worked (well for like a week..But, who's counting). I have joined challenges and feel like I let myself down if I don't try to jog everyday. I really hope I keep this up :-)

I watched a rerun of Biggest loser today and I weigh about the same as some of the contestants...{sigh}...Of course I am a lot taller then they are but still(I pray I am anyway)...I need to get my butt into shape!!! I need to keep thinking ~~~skinny jeans~~~

I love to read dorky vampire novels..I know pretty sad. But, hey I like them. So I was at Target today and found myself a new book. Looks pretty good. Read the back and the front and I am sold. So I did realize it was a series of novels.. I looked on the inside cover to make sure I got the first book. I purchased the first book (I thought) got home started to read it...Oh, no I got the last book in the series...Why, do they make it so hard to figure out which book you are buying..I think they should put numbers on the front...I have the toughest time figuring out which is the first one. The inside of this book has all the books listed from newest to oldest...Dumb book! (never dumb me) Now I have wasted my book money on a book I don't want to read until I read the first four..What a bummer...Guess I am off to the Library!

Thing 2 Emergency...

The other day at school my little Thing 2 collapsed twice at school...His temperature was all over the place and I heard he was super pale...He was complaining he wasn't feeling well...My hubby rushed over to the school and picked him up..He (my hubby) took him straight to the Emergency room (I guesss my thing 2 looked really bad)..I showed up soon after (Dumb Construction work on roads made my drive take forever)

While at the Emergency room he had a EKG done...Lots of blood work..And nothing..The doctors couldn't figure out anything that was wrong...Oh, it was so scary! I hate not knowing what happened..He is feeling fine now..The doctors asked us not to leave him alone for a few days..Just in case..But, what the heck happened! I am going to take him back in to the doctor my next day off just to make sure everything is still looking normal...I just pray this was a one time event.

Nothing worse then not knowing what made your son look and act so sick..Scary!

We have had a ton of Grasshoppers around the house lately...So Thing 1 and Thing 2 have been catching a few of them and putting them in jars so they can look at them...My little Boogy loves the "Hoppers"
Here is a couple of pictures of her studying the "Hoppers" She can sit there and look at them for maybe a half hour...In Boogy time that is forever...I love watching a child discover the world!!

My Thing 1 loves to ride his bike...I mean he really loves to ride it. He cruses around the entire neighborhood on his bike...My Thing 2 is just the opposite...He dislikes his bike...He really dislikes it..To be fair..Thing 2 is a little afraid of his bike..He always says "its to wobbly"

I really wanted a picture of my boys on their bikes...So we can look back in the future and they can remember their bikes....I love my boys!!

Now don't feel bad...Thing 2 has a scooter he scoots all around the neighborhood while his brother rides his bike...
I have noticed since My Thing 1 has gotten his bike and has been having a lot of fun with it...All the neighbor boys are starting to get bikes (no one had one before..I always thought that was weird)

I might have to take credit for all the kids exercising and most likely going to bed very early because they are exhausted from riding bikes all day :-)

I love bikes and I love scooters and I love my boys!!! I really love going to bed early ;-)

I am restarting my work out plan....I was so good...I was working out almost every day..I was eating healthy and starting to lose weight..Then I had surgery..I hurt my foot...And well I gave up :-(

But, when you fall you must get up and start again...I have treadmilled three times this week and I need to keep it up..I will not stop! I will always pick myself up and try again..I want to be healthy! I want to look great!! I want to look sexy to my husband!! I can do this!!

-laugh
-be a great wife and mother

I can do this!! I can be what I want to be with mind, body and spirit !

Why I wouldnt buy from Hamlet Homes

3+ years ago me and my hubby thought it would be a great idea to build our own home...Pick out everything brand new..Sounds like a great idea...We were sold on a builder named Hamlet Homes...They seemed great! Built our home quickly and seemed really nice...Then the nightmare began....

They promised to come after a year and check for any troubles...Nails coming out and such...I was never able to get anyone to come over. A couple times they said they would send someone over..Waited no on came..

My drive way started to come apart in the first year...They came and replaced it (I went several weeks without a driveway)...Now the drive way looks worse then the first one and they don't care..

They did a terrible job with drainage and now my neighbors basement floods every time it rains...My retaining wall Hamlet Homes built tumbled in on its self...The Highway they built my house by floods my back yard ever time it rains..

I have doors that don't close..

I have nail holes everywhere...They didn't even leave some extra paint to cover these holes...

My cabinets are falling off the wall...

My dishwasher broke after 2 years...

I have a pipe leaking somewhere in my ceiling and now the hole thing had to be ripped out and replaced..

My stucco is coming off in a couple areas...

My sprinkling system broke after the 2nd year...

That decorative cement they put on houses and porches is coming off...

I have now lost over 60,000 dollars in equity...I can't give my style of house away...

I have a ton of neighbors that are in for closer...

They left my HOA in the red...So my HOA fees went up 40 dollars a month..

I seriously live in a money pit of doom!!!

I would never ever recommend Hamlet Homes to anyone!!

Coming!! I am so nervous for my little men!! My baby boys are going to be big first graders...I already did the clothing shopping...We got new backpacks...New shoes..(really cool cop sketchers)
I have to decide if they will want school lunch or home made lunch..(knowing my skills they will like the schools lunch better)
We will have to do homework...I have to decide if I want Thing 2 tested for special ed...WOW! I am really nervous!! School is scary! Teachers and Principals..Bullies and friends...My babies are getting soooo big!! This is the real start of their school life!

My neighbors invited us to a bike parade!! The boys got to decorate their bikes and scooter in fun red, white and blue stuff...We used a lot of flags :-)

I had a death in the family...My Poor, Old, Trusty "Totally Awesome Computer" has died...Mother board was fried :-(
So with this death we have now gotten a new member in our family...A cute little Dell desktop...It has the Windows Vista I have to get use too..But, it does a great job..It is soooo nice to have a computer again!!

I need some fresh and new ideas on how to lose weight!! I am stuck....I haven't lost any weight in like 4 months..blah..I don't expect to look exactly like I did before I had babies..I just want to look better and feel better...I know...Eat healthy and Exercise often...Why cant there be a magic pill!!!

My baby girl got her first hair cut! She looks soooo cute with bangs!!

My camera has gone missing!! Ekkk! My hubby is going to kill me :-) OK, not really but he will wonder why I always lose my camera's!!

I am so glad he trusts me with our super cute kids :-)

I don't know how I feel about this either super excited...OR really nervous..When we walk through the shoe area at Target...Boogy always says: "I want!! I want!!"

I love shoes!! L---O---V---E THEM!! So with her already wanting more shoes and my love of shoes...We might end up in Bankruptcy...And a cranky Papa :-)

He has started testing for first grade..I really wanted to know where he is at with the services he has been receiving...(Speech Therapy)..He is doing great..The Speech Therapist said so far he is scoring average for his age...He still has about an hours worth of testing to complete...But, I am sooo excited!! Average is wonderful!! He has struggled his whole little life to be were he needs to be...He just might have made it!! I really hope the test continues to go this well...He was having a hard time holding still...(ants in his pants)....I wont be at the next testing... I think that might help him concentrate! Great Job Thing 2!!

Thing 2 quote from the test...He said this to the Speech Therapist...It almost made me laugh out loud during the test (oops!):

"I have one Fish!! My Fish stays inside...Sooo, he wont get snowed on!!"
(he was looking at a picture of a fish in a tank)

I love you Thing 2!! Keep working hard!! Hard work always pays off :-)

Today is another great day!! I am so grateful for all my blessings!! I have a wonderful husband! Smart,creative and tons of fun kids!! Life cant get any better then this!!
